Mary Cosby's Bold Move After Tragic Loss Sparks Reactions New

Mary Cosby's Bold Move After Tragic Loss Sparks Reactions

Mary Cosby is opening up about her decision to return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City just weeks after her son, Robert Cosby Jr., died. “I just didn’t want to sit around and sulk,” Mary, 53, said on the Wednesday, September 30, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “I didn’t want to sit around and it just swallow me. So, I thought, ‘Be distracted, keep going.’ My son would want me to go [on] and just push, and I did.” Mary resumed filming for RHOSLC season 7 earlier this year following Robert Jr.’s death at age 23 in February. The season premiere followed Mary’s fellow cast members — Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Bronwyn Newport, Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas and Heather Gay — rallying around her in the aftermath of her son dying. In February, a Salt Lake City Police Department spokesperson confirmed to Us that officers responded to a dispatch call for an overdose at 6:14 p.m. on February 23. Robert Jr. was found dead upon their arrival. In September, Mary opened up about her grief in an interview with Vulture. “I think I went into shock. I don’t know if it ever hit me, because I still feel my son,” she said. “I still feel his spirit, and I don’t know how that could be unless he’s OK and he made it to the good side. I feel him safe. I feel him tucked away. I feel him away from danger so a part of me can rest.” “I was so worried about him, but I thought he would get better and he would be that proof, like, ‘Look, people, you can change.’ But that was not the way he was supposed to go. People don’t leave unless it’s their time,” she continued. “I mean, this kid had nine lives. He had accident after accident, and finally it caught up with him. I think that it was for the good. To this day, there’s a peace that lives in my house. It’s a peace that we didn’t have before. So we’re thankful but hurt, if that makes sense.” In the same interview, Mary revealed that the RHOSLC production team offered her the opportunity to take time off. “I thought, ‘If I [take time off], then I’m gonna go darker into what I’m in. I’m gonna just sit at home, I’m gonna think about it. I’m gonna constantly be at ends: Why, what, how, when, what could I have done better, what could I have changed?’” she said. “I would have beat myself up.” The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 7 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock. Lil Wayne announced his engagement to Madi Cannon, who is 21 years his junior. The rapper, 44, appeared to confirm the news in an Instagram video on Tuesday, September 29, while congratulating fellow Hot Boys member B.G. on his own engagement to Brooke Jones. “Congratulations, bitch,” Lil Wayne said to the camera before pointing over his shoulder at Madi, 23, who smiled and waved as she offered her own congratulations. “And I’m marrying this one — this is Madison,” Lil Wayne explained. “This is my fiancée.” The “Lollipop” rapper continued, “Let us know what color we’re wearing. I’m the best man, you hear me? Love you, bitch.” B.G., 46, who shared the video on his page, captioned the post, “My lil Brodie gave me his blessings @liltunechi.” Us reached out to reps for Lil Wayne for comment. The announcement comes two months after Lil Wayne denied that he had gotten engaged. “I would like to clear something up,” he said during a livestream in July. “No, I’m not engaged. I had a beautiful thing going on with an amazing person, but, obviously, due to the validity of the temperature of today’s crazy world and culture, I considered, I don’t want to be such a burden on such an amazing person. So, we decided to part. Sucks.” Cannon is an influencer with more than 79,000 followers on Instagram. Lil Wayne (real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) is a father to four kids with four different women: daughter Reginae, 27, with Toya Johnson; son Dwayne III, 17, with Sarah Vivan; son Kameron, 17, with Lauren London; and son Neal, 16, with Nivea. He and Johnson, 42, were married from 2004 to 2006, while he and Nivea, 44, were engaged from 2002 to 2003. Lil Wayne has been engaged multiple other times throughout his career, including to Trina from 2005 to 2007, Dhea Sodano from 2012 to 2019 and Denise Bidot from 2021 to 2022. In July, Nivea revealed that she was diagnosed with blood cancer. “I was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year,” she said during an episode of Cadillac Chronicles. “I am so grateful to God. I am going through treatment.” The "Don't Mess With My Man" singer continued, “Everything is going great so far, and I expect it to continue. Amen. Amen. Amen! I’m very grateful for life. It’s so cliche to say, ‘You don’t know the time nor the hour,’ but it’s true. It just helped me put a lot of things into perspective.”

Ashley Tisdale Opens Up About Trying to Divorce Amid Intense Postpartum Depression New

Ashley Tisdale Opens Up About Trying to Divorce Amid Intense Postpartum Depression

Ashley Tisdale French is revealing how her “intense” postpartum depression battle impacted her marriage to Christopher French. “I was so proud of myself for, like, dealing with the anxiety stuff and being like, ‘OK, now I'm ready to have a child because I feel like I'm equipped emotionally to be able to do that,’” Tisdale French, 41, recalled to her husband on the Wednesday, September 30, episode of his “Recovering” podcast, referring to her mental health struggles after welcoming daughter Jupiter in 2021. “But then, I got hit with postpartum depression, which is really hormonal and all of the tools that I had learned and knew to use, like, you can't use. The hormonal stuff is the hardest part.” According to the actress, her PPD battle felt “very intense.” “I was like, ‘I know what to do and why am I still feeling this way?’” she noted. “And then, nobody was diagnosing me with it, too. That was the hardest part. I remember my OB was saying, ‘Oh, you have PMDD.’ And I'm like, ‘What is that?’ It's some kind of worse PMS before your period, and it hits you from the two weeks before your period, so you only feel normal for two weeks. I was like, ‘Well, what do you do for it?’ And she's like, ‘We have nothing to do for that.’” While navigating her mental health challenges, Tisdale French also struggled in her marriage to the composer. “Obviously, you dealt with a lot of that, and we had difficulty enduring that first year. I tried to divorce you so many times,” she said through laughter. “You’re so grounded and calm and knew to just let it blow over.” The Disney Channel alum’s doctor formally diagnosed her with PPD upon Jupiter’s 2nd birthday. Through it all, French, 44, stood steadfast by his wife’s side. “Viewing it from the outside is crazy,” he said. “It was so hard to watch you going through something that you couldn’t control — not that you couldn't control [it because] we can't really ever even control our emotions — but when it's hormonal specifically and you mentioned that, I do think there's a huge difference between emotional challenges and hormonal challenges. There’s almost no way to work with that. Like, it's almost beyond your grasp.” He continued, “You would be so loving and happy to hold Jupiter. You know, she's just born and we're like, ‘Wow, we got a baby and this is so crazy.’ And then within a few minutes, it was like your entire mood had shifted, like everything had changed.” The couple welcomed their second daughter, Emerson, in 2024. The High School Musical star noted she didn’t have “the same experience” with PPD. Phil Mickelson's Alleged Infidelity and Golf Club Drama: What Really Happened? New

Phil Mickelson's Alleged Infidelity and Golf Club Drama: What Really Happened?

Pro golfer Phil Mickelson voluntarily checked into a treatment center after he was allegedly kicked out of a prestigious country club amid claims of infidelity and inappropriate conduct. "Phil was seeking treatment for family trauma and addiction,” a representative for Mickelson, 56, confirmed to Us on Wednesday, September 30.  The six-time major champion has already checked out of the facility, according to TMZ Sports. Mickelson was accused of cheating on his wife of 30 years, Amy, multiple times in a scathing June report written by journalist Alan Shipnuck and published by Skratch Golf. Shipnuck spoke to a member of the Bridges golf club — located near the Mickelson family’s Rancho Santa Fe, California home — who claimed Mickelson recruited staff members to help him cheat on Amy, who was allegedly tracking his phone.   “Phil would give his phone to a young man in the pro shop and pay him $500 to drive around the course for three or four hours,” a Bridges member alleged. “Amy was tracking his phone; that way, she would think he was out on the golf course. That gave Phil the time to sneak over to this guy’s house and have his secret rendezvous.” Another member claimed, “It wasn’t just employees [Mickelson] gave his phone to, it was also members. He’d be like, ‘Hey, if it’s okay I’m gonna put my phone in your cart, I’ll catch up with you on the back nine.’” In another instance, Mickelson was accused of showing “a full-body picture of himself naked with an erection while flexing one bicep” to Ashley Perez, the then-wife of Mickelson’s longtime friend, Pat Perez.  “Phil says to me, ‘I’m going to leave my bedroom door open tonight. When Pat falls asleep I want you to come see me,” Ashley told Shipnuck.  A spokesperson for Mickelson issued a statement to Us regarding the allegations surrounding his alleged conduct and the state of his marriage.  “Mrs. Mickelson is not a public figure,” the statement said. “She did not choose this spotlight, and there was no legitimate journalistic reason to drag her into it. Shipnuck nevertheless gave anonymous sources a platform to speculate about her marriage, her motives and decisions they had no firsthand knowledge of.”  The statement continued, “Shipnuck’s reporting suggests that Mrs. Mickelson orchestrated Mr. Mickelson’s departures from golf clubs. That is false. Mr. Mickelson has never been forced by his wife or by any golf club to surrender his membership. Those decisions were his alone.” The Skratch Golf story came in the wake of a separate allegation against Mickelson, in which the pro golfer was accused of inappropriately touching a female employee at The Farms Golf Club, located outside of San Diego. “Mickelson approached the female employee at the clubhouse where he made nonconsensual and inappropriate physical contact with her,” Golf Digest reported in June. “The employee rejected his advances.” The club initiated “a review and investigation” and confronted Mickelson with their findings, asking him to leave the premises.  “The Farms Golf Club is committed to maintaining a golf club environment that is safe, respectful and reflects the highest standards of conduct,” the club said in a statement to Golf Digest. “All members are required to adhere to our Code of Conduct, and any allegations of misconduct are taken seriously. Following a staff member report of member misconduct, the Club provided immediate and ongoing support to the staff member, conducted a thorough independent investigation of the incident and took decisive action. This individual is no longer a member of The Farms Golf Club.” “Any misunderstanding has been cleared up,” a spokesperson for Mickelson said about the alleged incident at The Farms.

Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris Stun Fans with Secret 2025 Wedding New

Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris Stun Fans with Secret 2025 Wedding

Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris privately said “I do” in the summer of 2025. “When you get to this stage in your life, you begin to unpack what’s yours and what’s always sort of been for everyone else,” Bush, 44, told Vogue on Wednesday, September 30, gushing about their secret nuptials. “[Ashlyn has] been playing in stadiums in front of 60,000 people since [she was] 15 or 16, and I started playing a character for tens of millions of people when I was 21. It’s such a privilege to be able to perform as an athlete or an actor, but it also comes with certain costs.” Due to their public careers, Bush and Harris, 40, opted for an intimate ceremony in Upstate New York with only a few guests, including the soccer star’s two children, Sloane and Ocean, in attendance. “It was so precious and zero pressure,” Bush gushed. “I will never forget it, and I think wedding days sometimes aren’t like that.” The One Tree Hill alum and Harris have been together since 2023 following their respective divorces from Grant Hughes and Ali Krieger. (Bush publicly came out as queer after her split from Hughes, 44.) While reflecting on their nuptials, Bush gushed to Vogue that it “feels so amazing” to call Harris her wife. “We got to have personal experiences with everyone we love, and once we got through all of those, how do we put it out?” she told the outlet of deciding to publicly announce their union. “I don’t want to keep sitting on panels or in interviews and being like, ‘My partner.’ [Ashlyn is] not my partner, you know? [She’s] my wife.” Vogue further reported that Bush wrote about her intimate wedding day in her forthcoming memoir, And I Will Tell You Mine: Notes From a Life in Progress. “It was impossible for my heart not to be changed by hers,” the actress wrote in an excerpt published by Vogue. “Ash had spent so long training herself to be exceptional. At any cost. And then I got to watch her learn she was already enough. That she didn’t have to earn love. That she could carry it, the best and the worst and plenty of horribly unfair things, and make something wonderful from it all. It was breathtaking to witness.” Bush continued, “That was what I wanted my life to look like. This is who I wanted to spend it with. And she wanted to spend it with me. As that beautiful realization settled in, a friend asked how I could still believe in marriage knowing what I knew about how it could end. It surprised me how quickly and clearly I knew the answer.” According to Bush, her wedding day radiated “pure joy” and she felt completely “at ease.” “This is the first chapter of my life that feels truly, wholly, divinely mine,” she added.

The theme was announced during Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 30, with ABC revealing that the ballroom dance competition will host a night of legendary proportions honoring the “music, spectacle and unforgettable moments of the big game.” Super Bowl Night will kick off on Tuesday, October 13, with the remaining couples taking the dance floor for routines set to songs performed during halftime at the annual NFL championship game. The exciting new theme is a nod to Disney’s upcoming integration plan with ABC and ESPN, which will air this season’s Super Bowl on Sunday, February 14, 2027. While fans have to wait some time to see which two football teams will face off at the big game, DWTS viewers will see their favorite dancers competing again next week for Mariah Carey Night. The remaining duos include, Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik, Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess, Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy, Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach, Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov, Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas, Ciara Miller and Brandon Armstrong, Jackson Olson and Emma Slater, Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson, Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa, Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold and Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson following another surprising elimination on Tuesday, September 29. Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart were sent home on Yacht Rock Night after receiving a 18 out of 30 score from the judges for their foxtrot to “What a Fool Believes” by The Doobie Brothers. "This has been everything. This has been incredible. She's showed me things I didn't think was possible and I'm so grateful for this time," Hanson said as Stewart added, "Taylor, I am so grateful that I now have you in my life. Thank you so much for everything. You are amazing." Conner Leavitt and partner Adele Zaikman, were previously sent home during week one, along with Sarah Jane Nader and partner Hailey Bills. Giada De Laurentiis and her pro, Alan Bersten, were eliminated during week two. As the season continues, viewers will be treated to Super Bowl Night during week five of the competition series, followed by Dedication Night on Tuesday, October 20, and Horror Movie Night on Tuesday, October 27, just in time for Halloween later that week. The previously announced themes for November include Disney Night and Grammy Night before the semi-finals and finale set for Tuesday, November 24. Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

Perez Hilton's Emotional Reunion with Kids During Treatment Sparks Reactions New

Perez Hilton's Emotional Reunion with Kids During Treatment Sparks Reactions

Perez Hilton’s family is sharing an update on his kids after his mother, Teresita Lavandeira, was granted temporary custody amid his mental health treatment following a suicide attempt. “We’re very happy to share that over the past few weeks, Perez has been able to reconnect with his children and his mom,” the blogger’s family wrote in a post on his website on Tuesday, September 29. “They were first able to spend time together through a few video calls, and since then, Perez has also been able to see his children and his mom a few times for short, supervised visits at the facility.” Hilton, 48, is a single father to son Mario, 13, and daughters Mia, 11, and Mayte, 8. “Seeing his children in person has meant an enormous amount to Perez,” his family continued. “There have definitely been a lot of emotions for everyone, but being able to spend that time together has been incredibly meaningful and healing.” The post added, “We’re grateful for the progress Perez has made so far, and especially grateful that he and his children have been able to spend some time together again.” Hilton was hospitalized on August 4 following a disturbing livestream in which he engaged in acts of self-harm. He underwent surgery due to significant blood loss and remained in the hospital for several weeks before moving to an inpatient treatment facility to focus on his mental health and recovery. Amid his treatment, Us confirmed last month that Hilton’s mom had been awarded temporary custody of his children. Hilton’s friend Tom D’Angora recently launched a GoFundMe page to help Lavandeira care for the kids. The fundraiser has received more than $14,000 in donations out of its $25,000 goal since its launch on September 17. “Perez’s mom has been incredibly touched and honestly overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity. It’s meant so much to her and to the kids,” his family said in their update on Tuesday. “As for Perez, he remains in residential treatment, where the focus continues to be on his mental health and recovery,” their statement continued. “Communication with Perez is still limited, and we’re not able to talk to him daily. While that’s hard for us and for him, we understand that right now the priority isn’t constant communication with family, but rather giving him the time and space to focus on his care and continue making progress.” Hilton’s family noted that he is “continuing to work with his care team on understanding what led to his mental health crisis, recognizing warning signs, learning better ways to cope and working through everything that brought him to this point.” They also shared that they do not yet have a timeline for when Hilton will be able to return home. “This is all still very new to us,” his family said. “We’re listening to the doctors, psychiatrists, therapists, and everyone involved in his care, and trusting their guidance on what Perez needs and when he’s ready for each next step. Nobody wants to rush anything. For now, we’re all taking things one day at a time.” If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available.
