Kelly Clarkson's New Bob Haircut Sparks Buzz After Talk Show Finale

Kelly Clarkson is entering her post-talk show era.

And, in celebration of her next chapter, she’s chopped off all of her hair.

Clarkson debuted her chin-length bob on Monday, her shortest haircut in months.

Beginning her day on “Today” and ending it on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” Clarkson has hit the ground running as “The Voice” returns.

Clarkson chose a trench coat dress and booties for her morning appearance and a long-sleeved black minidress and heels for late night, both styled with sheer black tights.

Though Clarkson has had short hair in the past, she’s more often than not seen with a longer style.

Clarkson was on “Late Night” to promote Season 30 of “The Voice,” which premiered on Monday night, with the host immediately noticing her new look.

“No extensions!” said Meyers.

Upon sitting in the chair, Clarkson replied, “I chopped my hair off recently,” adding, “I like it short.”

“I just took my extensions off on national television,” she reminded the audience, adding, “I will really do anything for a joke.”

It was a stunt that was only just aired hours before, when Clarkson unclipped a hair extension on “The Voice” premiere and offered it to contestant Hazel Gerson, 21, in order to win her over.

Gerson told Clarkson that her “long hair looks really beautiful,” to which the on-air coach replied, “Thank you! I’ll give it to you. It’s clip-in,” adding, “you can have it!”

Continuing, “I will share. Don’t you want a coach that will share with you?” 

After seven seasons, “The Kelly Clarkson Show” aired for the final time on August 31.

And, with her final bow was also a final Kellyoke — singing “Golden” from “K-Pop Demon Hunters” — and, of course, quickly went viral.

“I’m gonna be honest with you … I was so proud when people liked it. Because it was really hard,” continuing, “I worked really hard.”

“It was not my favorite to DO, but it was the most challenging,” she told the team at Today.

Continuing, “I’d never practiced like that.”
