Kate Beckinsale's Cryptic Instagram Exit: Fans Left Wondering Why New

Kate Beckinsale's Cryptic Instagram Exit: Fans Left Wondering Why

Kate Beckinsale deleted her archive of Instagram photos, leaving only a pair of concerning messages on her feed. “Bye,” Beckinsale, 53, wrote in white text over a black background in an Instagram post shared early on Sunday, September 20. Within the hour, the actress shared an image of a rainbow from a parking lot to her Instagram Stories. She added the caption, “Congratulations, you won. I give up.” Beckinsale has not shared any additional messages or elaborated on the meaning behind her alarming uploads. Us reached out to the actress’ rep for comment. Weeks earlier, the Underworld actress opened up about her personal experience with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). “I think what people will find incredibly hard to understand about non-military PTSD … is that those people have seen or experienced levels of horror, terror, violence that they don’t just dream about incessantly, so there’s no rest,” Beckinsale wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post on September 2. “They see it when they blink. Every time they close their eyes for a second and those people aren’t recognized as heroes.” She continued at the time, “They see it when they blink. Every time they close their eyes for a second and those people aren’t recognized as heroes. Given the fact that it’s invisible and you can’t know, maybe err on being on the gentler side with people, being kinder with people. It really is true that if you haven’t walked a mile in someone’s shoes — however fancy you feel the shoes are — you have absolutely no idea what they may be carrying or masking or dealing with day and night.” While researchers note it is difficult to accurately gauge how many people suffer from PTSD, studies show an estimated six out of every 100 Americans experience PTSD at some point in their lives — and the majority of those individuals do not have a military background. Beckinsale had previously scrubbed her Instagram profile in August while navigating the aftermath of her mother’s death, noting the disparaging comments she received on social media about her weight in the midst of her grief. (The Serendipity star announced in 2025 that her mom died after a battle with stage IV cancer.) “You take a break from Instagram for several months following the death of your mother, delete all of your posts and explain in some considerable detail about what you may have lost weight including the fact that weight loss is one of the very first physical signs of bereavement,” Beckinsale captioned an August upload, addressing body-shaming comments. “I think people might be broken.” She added at the time, “At the age of 5, I watched my 31-year-old father die of a huge heart attack and then I watched my stepfather die, and then I watched my mother degenerate and die in such an incredible amount of suffering, and I will say, it doesn’t make you feel very hungry. And I don’t know if there’s some kind of survivor guilt because it started after my stepdad died, and it’s not like anorexia where you’re starving and it’s a kind of willpower thing.” Beckinsale further acknowledged how her grief had affected her appetite and, in turn, her overall health. “I think watching, especially alone, the people that you love the most dearly suffer and have horrific and sometimes violent, awful deaths really makes you not hungry, and people respond in different ways,” she stated. “Uf you google physical manifestations of grief, changes in appetite is probably the first one. … I will say that because of my dad and my stepdad and my mom, I am so grateful that it wouldn’t occur to me to see somebody transparently suffering and write something nasty about their appearance. It just wouldn’t cross my mind. I am so grateful to have been brought up by people who raised me like that. And I really miss them.” If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org.

Frankie Muniz Sparks Concern with Emotional Reunion Post New

Frankie Muniz Sparks Concern with Emotional Reunion Post

Frankie Muniz took to Instagram Saturday with a wholesome family-themed upload after admitting he’d hit “rock bottom” in a previous post.In a pair of goofy snapshots taken in Scottsdale, Arizona, he sat in the front seat of a vehicle alongside estranged wife Paige Price, with their son Mauz, 5, happily seated in the back.“Post soccer shenanigans with the fam,” the “Malcolm in the Middle” alum, 40, captioned the post on Saturday. The proud father added, “Our little dude got a medal for excellence in sportsmanship!” Just a day earlier, the former child actor took to the same platform to lament a “nightmare” he said he was living. Frankie Muniz reunited with estranged wife Paige Price for their son’s soccer game and shared a pair of selfies, as seen above. Frankie Muniz/Instagram“Post soccer shenanigans with the fam,” the actor, pictured here in April, captioned the post. GC Images“The last 6 weeks of my life have been a nightmare I’m praying to wake up from,” he wrote alongside a thoughtful pic of himself seated on a couch. He added, “Everything [has] felt heavy, unclear, and like it was falling apart at the same time. I wouldn’t wish this season on anyone.”Muniz reflected on having “had time to sit with myself, do real self-reflection, and finally see the areas of my life that need work if I want to become a better version of me.” “I’ve read that sometimes hitting rock bottom is the thing that wakes you up,” he continued, noting that “It forces the changes you needed to make all along so you can live the best life possible.” Muniz went on, asserting that he believed in five years he’d “feel grateful” for the experience in retrospect “because the high I’ll be standing on then only exists because I went through this.”Muniz, seen here in February, previously spoke out about hitting “rock bottom” in an Instagram post on Friday. Icon Sportswire via Getty ImagesEarlier Saturday, he shared a tire safety video, as seen above. frankie muniz/ instagramMuniz wrote that he was prepared to begin the “uncomfortable, unglamorous, necessary work” on himself going forward and to “treat this season as the foundation, not the finish line.” “If you’re in a low place right now too, you’re not broken,” he concluded. “You’re being rebuilt. Let’s keep going!”Though the upload finished on an upbeat note, it sparked concern among fans, with one person in the comments thread encouraging the actor — who is now a race car driver — to “ask for, and accept help.”Price, 33, took to her own Instagram with what appeared to be a cryptic response, writing, “Life is all about perspective. If you ask the grass, the zebra is the monster and the lion is the protector.”She included a calming video of herself creating a wax seal. Muniz announced his split from Price in July. This world is so f–ked.”Muniz and Price eloped in October 2019 and later tied the knot in a wedding in Phoenix, Arizona, in February 2020. Kim Zolciak's Shopping Trip Draws Attention Amid Son's Legal Turmoil New

Kim Zolciak's Shopping Trip Draws Attention Amid Son's Legal Turmoil

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum Kim Zolciak was seen stepping out in Georgia as her son’s complex legal battle escalated. The reality star, 48, was pictured stepping out for shopping in Alpharetta, GA on Friday, wearing a fitted black tank top and relaxed jeans. She accessorized with a necklace, sunglasses, and a pair of pointed-to heels, and carried a white cell phone and her keys during the outing. At one point, she was seen putting away a shopping cart. She wore her blond hair in waves around her shoulders and parted it down the middle and remained expressionless. The sighting comes after Zolciak’s son, 15-year-old KJ Biermann, suffered a legal blow in his sodomy and sexual battery case. Kim Zolciak was spotted out in Alpharetta, Georgia on Friday, as seen above. BACKGRIDShe wore jeans and a black tank top for the shopping outing. BACKGRIDThe “RHOA” alum accessorized with sunglasses. BACKGRIDBiermann’s motion to close the courtroom was denied by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melynee Leftridge, who according to documents obtained by Page Six, stated that “the high legal standard for permitting a closed courtroom was not met by Defendant.” The court granted the teen’s motion to limit photography and media recording, and allowed for protections over his juvenile court records, ordering that to keep them from the public, they “shall be filed under seal.” The judge denied the “Don’t Be Tardy” personality’s request to keep prosecutors from exposing limited information from his juvenile case that could affect the court’s consideration of his bond.Page Six confirmed on Friday that prosecutors filed an emergency motion asking the court to order forensic interviews of “minor children” for the case. KJ — whom Zolciak shares with estranged husband Kroy Biermann, 41 — was arrested in August and indicted on seven charges, including three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child under 16, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, false imprisonment and aggravated sexual battery. The Bravo star carried keys and a cell phone. BACKGRIDZolciak remained expressionless during the outing. BACKGRIDA female classmate alleged the Bravo personality sexually assaulted her at the Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia on April 23.The classmate alleged he made “multiple” attempts to have “sexual intercourse with her by trying to pull down her pants” in a co-ed sauna at the facility — despite her telling him “no” — according to court documents. The then-15-year-old alleged victim also claimed to investigators that KJ digitally penetrated her vagina and forced oral sex. Jason Sheffield, KJ’s attorney, denied wrongdoing on behalf of client, insisting to Page Six in a statement that he is “100% innocent.” Zolciak, meanwhile, vigorously hit back at what she called the “reckless and deeply troubling” allegations in a statement of her own. The Bravo star was seen pushing a shopping cart before opening her vehicle door. BACKGRIDHer son KJ Biermann, seen above in a mugshot, suffered a legal setback in his sodomy and sexual assault case. Alpharetta Police Department“He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct,” Zolciak said in part. The TV personality’s “RHOA” colleague NeNe Leakes claimed in a recent interview that Zolciak is “not OK” amid his continued legal woes. Zolciak — who appeared as a series regular in the Bravo hit from 2008 to 2012 — supported her son at a bond hearing on Sept. 11. Kroy was also present, and sat separately from his estranged wife during the proceedings. KJ was ultimately granted a $200,000 bond, though he must adhere to strict conditions, including electronic monitoring, a ban on cell phone use, and he must surrender his passport. KJ is also ordered to attend school virtually from his mother’s Georgia home, and cannot contact the alleged victim in any way — or be in contact with anyone under the age of 16. The 15-year-old, pictured above with his mother in a social media upload, was arrested last month. kimzolciakbiermann/InstagramKJ, pictured above with Zolciak in an Instagram photo, was indicted on seven charges. Zolciak and KJ’s lawyers have denied wrongdoing on his behalf. kimzolciakbiermann/InstagramProsecutors alleged during the hearing that videos of KJ having sex with an underage family member in April 2023 were previously found on his cellphone, and claimed that since October 2025, he’d been under court supervision due to the alleged separate incident. On Thursday, Page Six exclusive reported that Zolciak and her estranged husband had confiscated the teen’s cell phone a year prior to investigators discovering the videos. It’s unclear if the footage was connected to the alleged incident. Zolciak also shares kids Kash, Kaia, and Kane with Kroy, who also adopted her daughters from a previous relationship, Brielle and Ariana. Melissa Barrera Reveals What Macklemore's Support Means for Free Speech New

Melissa Barrera Reveals What Macklemore's Support Means for Free Speech

Melissa Barrera has compared the reaction to Macklemore being dropped from Ed Sheeran’s tour for taking a pro-Palestinian stance to her own firing from Scream 7. “It made me emotional, you know,” Barrera, 36, told The Associated Press in an interview on Wednesday, September 16. “I didn’t get that when it happened to me. I didn’t have any of that happen. It was too soon. People were too scared. But it’s good to see that almost three years later, at least things have changed.” Barrera was reportedly dismissed from the cast from Scream 7 in 2023 for taking a vocal pro-Palestinian stance in the wake of the October 7 terror attacks and subsequent Israeli military operation in Gaza. (She “condemn[ed] anti-semitism and Islamophobia” in a statement issued at the time.) Scream’s production company Spyglass denied that Barrera’s support for Palestinians was behind her departure from the franchise, though a statement from the organization said it had “zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech.” In May, Barrera was asked whether she’d compare costars who ultimately returned for Scream 7 to scabs crossing a picket line during a strike. “Oh, one hundred percent,” she told Variety. “I think they all are. And they have to live with that.” Scream 7 star Matthew Lillard said this month that he regretted taking part in the film, adding that Barrera is “on the right side of history” for her humanitarian stance. As for Macklemore’s situation, the “Same Love” rapper, 43, was kicked off Sheeran’s Loop Tour as a support act after shouting “Free Palestine” at two concerts at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey earlier this month. Sheeran, 35, allegedly received pressure from promoters and venue owners — including Gillette Stadium owner Robert Kraft — that they would not move forward with Loop Tour shows unless Macklemore was dropped. The “Shape of You” singer’s management officially dismissed Macklemore as an opener on Monday, September 14. Other scheduled Loop Tour openers — such as Finneas and Lukas Graham — quit in solidarity with Macklemore, causing drastic changes to the start time and format of future concert dates. Sheeran later released a statement in which he denied personally removing Macklemore as a support act. “Ed Sheeran and his team have made the decision to remove me from the Loop Tour. I am not a victim. Ed Sheeran is not a victim,” Macklemore wrote in his own statement on Monday. “We have careers, money, opportunities, safety and audiences around the world. Whatever consequences any of us face for what we say, we get to go home to our families.” He continued, “[Ed] told me that the words ‘Free Palestine’ and the image of the Palestinian flag were hurtful to a lot of people he spoke with. I hope this isn’t the end of my relationship with Ed. Thirteen years of friendship doesn’t disappear because of one painful disagreement. I hope we both continue listening, studying what is happening in Palestine and wrestling with what neutrality means in a moment like this. My door will always be open to continuing that conversation.” Speaking this week, Barrera argued that Sheeran should have stood firm behind Macklemore to silence critics of free speech. “I wish that the people that have power understood the power that they have,” she told The Associated Press on Wednesday. “ I think that the problem is that there’s a lot of people that actually have a lot of power; they think that they don’t, and they’re operating out of fear, and it’s just a shame because, you know, we just saw what happened — the support that rallied behind Macklemore — and I think that’s a big step. I think that what we’re seeing, what we’re witnessing, is going to inspire real change, and I’m very hopeful about that.” Sheeran will bring the Loop Tour to the Kraft-owned Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26.

Ole Miss Fans Explode with Chants Against Lane Kiffin Amid Tense Return New

Ole Miss Fans Explode with Chants Against Lane Kiffin Amid Tense Return

College GameDay cohost Pat McAfee was momentarily speechless on live TV when Ole Miss fans made their feelings about former coach Lane Kiffin all too clear. “Whatever you think about today, you can’t help but…,” McAfee, 39, trailed off on ESPN’s coverage as Ole Miss supporters began chanting “F*** Lane Kiffin” on Saturday, September 19. With the booming chants getting louder, McAfee quipped, “OK … that wasn’t what I was thinking! It’s certainly what a lot of them are thinking!” Saturday’s college football game between Ole Miss and LSU at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi, marked the first time Kiffin, 51, returned to the venue since he left his head coaching job to lead the LSU Tigers. “Lane Kiffin, he hopped in a truck and went right down to Baton Rouge. Now, he hopped in a couple trucks to head right back here to Oxford,” McAfee joked on College GameDay. The coach announced his departure from Oxford in November 2025 after leading the Rebels to an 11-1 regular season. At the time, Ole Miss was preparing for its first College Football Playoff appearance. “After a lot of prayer and time spent with family, I made the difficult decision to accept the head coaching position at LSU,” Kiffin announced last November. Kiffin said that he’d hoped to “complete a historic six season run” with Ole Miss through the playoffs so he could honor “the team's incredible success and their commitment to finish strong.” “My request to do so was denied by [athletic director] Keith Carter despite the team also asking him to allow me to keep coaching them so they could better maintain their high level of performance,” he added. In the aftermath of his Ole Miss exit, Kiffin told ESPN in July that he regretted the way his move to LSU was handled. “I think that's a good thing that I look at life that way now, instead of saying, 'No, I don't. I was right,’” he argued. “I look at things always now, like, how could I have done them better? But it's also easier when you're further removed. There's no emotion involved.” Tensions are still running high on the Ole Miss campus, with Kiffin telling reporters that there were “real safety issues and stuff” ahead of Saturday’s game. “There’s people that have a plan for that, it is what it is,” Kiffin said in a press conference on Monday, September 14. “But I told the players today, you don’t have anything to worry about as far as attention on you all week. There’s so much attention and hatred on me, you just get to go play.” Lane’s daughter Landry — who is a student at Ole Miss — spoke out earlier this week to condemn vulgar banners from around the campus relating to her and a former Rebels football player. (Landry is actually dating LSU linebacker Whit Weeks.) “I’m still a student at Ole Miss. I’ve loved my time here, and I love Ole Miss. So that’s what kind of makes this all even more upsetting,” Landry, 21, explained via TikTok on Wednesday, September 16. “I opened my phone this morning to pictures of banners on houses around Oxford posted on different accounts saying really inappropriate things about me and with somebody that genuinely I have never met in my life, which makes it even more frustrating to say the least.” She pointed out that “turning a girl into the punch line of a sexual joke” should never be acceptable. “I understand emotions are high this week and people are upset, but I am my own person,” she told viewers. “I’ll just never understand how someone can feel good about themselves putting such vulgar things about a girl on a giant banner hanging from their house. I feel like that’s really mind-blowing to me. I just hope people realize there is an actual person behind the jokes that they make.”

Carrot Top Caught in Sex Tape Scandal Before Shocking Hospitalization

Carrot Top (real name: Scott Thompson) was being extorted over a sex tape prior to his reported suicide attempt Friday, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.Ronnie Bitman, the comedian’s attorney, claimed in a Sept. 3 filing in Broward County, Florida, that musician Brian Evans — a previous opening performer for Thompson’s long-running show at Las Vegas’ Luxor Hotel and Casino — threatened to leak an X-rated video of his client if he wasn’t paid.“Evans demands immediate payment of significant sums and states that, absent immediate payment, a sexually explicit recording of Thompson will be filed in the public court file so that it may be obtained and disseminated by the press and other parties,” Bitman wrote, in part.Carrot Top (pictured above in December 2017) was being extorted over a sex tape prior to his alleged suicide attempt Friday, according to court documents obtained by Page Six. (Thompson is pictured above in August 2022.) MediaPunch / ShutterstockThe court filing included an email from Evans to Bitman in which he requested $500,000 “in immediately available funds, in exchange for resolution of all claims against” Thompson or else he’d release the video, which was on a USB drive, in a public docket. In the email, Evans writes, “It is not a threat. I am not offering to create coverage, stop coverage, or trade silence for money. I cannot control what outlets write after a public motion is filed. The only thing that stops coverage is if we both stop filing anything.”“I am telling you … that I would rather resolve the claims against your client [Thompson] than continue this motion practice,” Evans added.Evans’ email ended with a note that, should Bitman not meet his deadline, “it is not an offer your client will ever see again — not even remotely close.”In a statement to Page Six, Evans said the aforementioned email was “intended to be confidential” and said he “never threatened — ever — to post any video anywhere in exchange for a settlement.”Evans claimed the video “was deleted a long time ago” in accordance with a prior settlement. The filing included an email from Evans, who was previously an opening performer for Thompson’s long-running show at Las Vegas’ Luxor Hotel and Casino, to Bitman in which he requested requested $500,000 “in immediately available funds” in exchange for resolution of all claims against” Thompson (seen above in March 2026). It’s not my intent to bring this guy down. It’s the opposite,” he continued, later noting, “Thankfully he is still with us.”Evans sent Page Six a court document he said he filed Sept. 17 asking the judge in a case against Thompson, which he opened in Broward County, Florida, on Aug. 6 to be recused. This court filing was not available in the online docket for the case, at the time of publishing. In a statement to Page Six, Evans said the aforementioned email was “intended to be confidential” and said he “never threatened — ever — to post any video anywhere in exchange for a settlement.” (Thompson is seen here in December 2015.) Getty ImagesIn a statement to Page Six, Thompson’s representative, Jami Schlicher, noted that Evans has been declared a “vexatious litigant,” with a judge describing his court filings as “serial” and “spurious.”This is reflected in a filing from the United States District Court in the Southern District of Florida filed Sept. 4 — two days prior to Evans’ initial filing in his Broward County case.In that filing, a United States District Judge declared that Evans had filed “no fewer than fifteen pro se cases in this District since 2025, all of which appear frivolous. One such case listed involved Thompson as the defendant.Schlicher told Page Six that the court’s findings and Evans’ litigation record “speak for themselves.”In his lawsuit against Thompson in Broward County, Evans alleged that the comedian sent him unsolicited footage of himself engaging in oral sex with a person back in 2022 or 2023.Evans stated that he was “shocked, disturbed and offended” by the video.Per the docs, Evans claimed Thompson convinced him to sign a settlement agreement in 2024, which he now wants dismissed on the grounds that “at the time it was executed, [Evans] lacked the mental capacity necessary to knowingly and voluntarily enter into a binding contract” due to suffering from “severe psychiatric injuries sustained” following the Maui wildfires in 2023.A United States District Court in the Southern District of Florida called Evans a “vexatious litigant” who had filed “no fewer than fifteen pro se cases in this District since 2025, all of which appear frivolous,” in a Sept. 4 filing. Lauren Boebert Faces Backlash After Explosive Ethics Complaint New

Lauren Boebert Faces Backlash After Explosive Ethics Complaint

Rep. Lauren Boebert is firing back over a House Ethics Committee complaint alleging that she had sex with three current and former staffers. “Congresswoman Lauren Boebert rejects these allegations as utterly false and there is no truth to them whatsoever,” a spokesperson for Boebert, 39, told Us on Saturday, September 16. “This is nothing more than a politically motivated stunt designed to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines, smear her, and generate clickbait.” The Colorado representative’s office spoke out following American Muckrakers’ David Wheeler submitting a sworn statement about her alleged misconduct with three staffers — two female and one male — to the House Committee on Ethics earlier this week, reports The Colorado Times Recorder. The complaint alleges that Boebert previously arranged a $200,000 hush money payment to prevent one staffer from filing their own ethics complaint. “[These accusations] come from an activist who has long recycled sensational claims, including numerous baseless accusations previously fact-checked as false,” Boebert’s rep said. Wheeler and Boebert have had a long-running feud that dates back over four years and has involved multiple threats of legal action. Us has reached out to Rep. Boebert’s office for comment. The ethics complaint against Boebert could carry serious consequences as the House Code of Official Conduct strictly prohibits representatives from having intimate or sexual relationships with staff who work directly under them in their offices or on committees. In September 2023, Boebert — an outspoken ally of President Donald Trump — publicly apologized over reports that she and a companion were thrown out of Denver’s Buell Theatre during a performance of Beetlejuice The Musical. The prominent Republican politician initially denied accusations that she and her companion were vaping and groping one another during the performance — though she later conceded she’d acted inappropriately, in part, because of the trauma of her then-pending divorce from ex Jayson Boebert, per CPR News. “The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I'm truly sorry for the unwanted attention my Sunday evening in Denver has brought to the community,” she wrote at the time. “There's no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has made for a challenging personal time for me and my entire family.” Her statement concluded, “I've tried to handle it with strength and grace as best I can, but I simply fell short of my values on Sunday. That's unacceptable and I'm sorry.” More recently, Boebert appeared to poke fun at former House colleagues Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-California) and Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas) resigning due to separate sex scandals earlier this year. “Like, I mean, why is everybody so horny here?” Boebert asked reporters on the steps of Capitol Hill in April. Speaking to Nexstar D.C. correspondent Vinay Simlot, Boebert recommended that troubled colleagues should “go to church [and] find Jesus.” Boebert has represented Colorado’s fourth district since January 2025, having previously served the state’s third congressional district.

Brad Garrett's Heartfelt Message to Carrot Top After Hospitalization Shocks Fans New

Brad Garrett's Heartfelt Message to Carrot Top After Hospitalization Shocks Fans

Everybody Loves Raymond alum Brad Garrett is sharing his support for friend and fellow comedian Carrot Top after the performer was hospitalized following an alleged suicide attempt. “Oh my beautiful, talented friend @carrottoplive. We’re ALL thanking our lucky stars that you’re OK,” Garrett, 66, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, September 19, alongside a photo with Carrot Top, 61, and Ray Romano. “Please take this time to remember how appreciated and loved you are by so many.” He continued, “We’re here for you. We need you OK. YOU need you OK. Whatever it takes, we’re here for you. You’re getting a second chance for a reason. Use it wisely. We need folks like you around. Show yourself grace. We love you.” Carrot Top (real name Scott Thompson) was hospitalized in Las Vegas on Friday, September 19, after a reported suicide attempt. (TMZ was the first to report the news.) “Mr. Thompson is recovering in the hospital and is receiving the care and support he needs,” his rep, Jami Schlicher, told the outlet in a statement. “His family and those closest to him are deeply grateful for the concern, prayers and respectfully ask for privacy.” TMZ also reported that Carrot Top’s comedy shows at the Luxor Casino on Friday and Saturday were both canceled amid the comedy star’s hospitalization. Us reached out to reps for Carrot Top, Luxor Casino and the Las Vegas Police Department for comment but have not heard back at the time of publication. Carrot Top, who has not publicly addressed his hospitalization, has headlined a residency at Luxor since 2005. “It came around by accident, believe it or not. I used to do a couple of weeks at a time at the MGM Grand, 17 years ago,” he recalled in a 2022 interview of performing in Vegas. “It was like a mini-residence. I would go there for two weeks, and then I would go on the road and do shows. Then, I would come back and do two weeks and then go back out on the road again.” Soon after, Carrot Top was offered his own show. “I wasn’t ready to be a resident headliner. I was reluctant,” Carrot Top confessed at the time. “I said, ‘Let’s do a year and see how it goes.’ It was horrible for that first year. I was living in the hotel. It was just not a good time. Things weren’t working. Shows were tough and I was losing my mind, and thinking I have to get out of this gig. Then, one day it was really weird, I just started having fun and it started to click.” He continued, “I agreed to do another two years, making it a three-year deal, and at that point we really got into a groove. It wouldn’t make any sense for me not to be in Vegas. Then, I agreed to a five-year deal. Then, it became a 10-year deal, and now it’s been 16 years and counting. You’re in one place and people come to you, as opposed to you going to them. I’ve gotten used to the room.” Carrot Top’s show was recently nominated for Best Comedian, Best Resident Performer/Headliner and Best Production Show at the Best of Las Vegas Awards.
